What we collect

The VIN you enter, your email address, the odometer reading if you add one, and payment confirmation from Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy handles your card details; we never see them.

VIN reports you add

If you add a VIN report PDF, we read it once to build your findings and then delete the file. We keep only our findings (for example "salvage brand found, August 2024") so your verification page can display them.

Verification pages

Anyone with your report ID or QR code can see the vehicle, the VIN and our findings for 60 days. They cannot see your email or payment details.

How long we keep data

Order records are kept for accounting and refunds. Ask us to delete your data at support@vinshield.report.
